Flexible foams
Flexible foams are broadly characterized as low-density cellular materials, with a resistance to compression that is both limited and reversible. The most widely used flexible foam types are water-blown slabstock and moulded flexible foams. Both are used for automotive and furniture/bedding cushioning applications. In addition, technical products such as semi-rigid, packaging and viscoelastic foams are used in special applications.
ALLURETHANE provides creative sourcing solutions, quality product alternatives and a customized service as a world-class, full-line international chemical distributor to the following applications of the flexible foam segment :
- Cushioning in furnitures
- Bedding (mattresses and pillows)
- Automotive (seating and interior trim)
